Q. Will a wireless LAN suit my needs?
A. It depends on the number of computers you have and their usage levels.
    We can choose different wireless standards (802.11a & b) and different
    configurations to tailor the equipment to your needs or integrate with
    your existing infrastructure.

Q. What are 802.11a and 802.11b ?
A. These are frequency standards with different speeds of wireless operation.
    Standard office cabling often runs as 10 or 100 mbps (megabits per
    second).  802.11b gives 11mbps (or 22mpbs with D-Link equipment), 
    whereas 802.11a works at 54 mbps.  Faster standards are emerging.

Q. How does it work with ADSL (Broadband)?
A. At its simplest, we can supply you with an a single box which acts as a
    Broadband Router, 10/100Mbps switch/hub and wireless access point.
    This plugs into your phone line and after configuration, you're ready to go!

Q. Is wireless fast enough for high speed internet?
A. Yes. Comparing the 11/22/54 mbps standards to a standard ADSL
    connection of about 1/2 mbps shows that wireless networking will be quite
    adequate for most needs!
